Larry Lloyd has been with GoRail for over eight years. He is a member of the Western Railway Club, the Midwest Association of Rail Shippers and a board member of the Lost Railway Museum, Michigan’s interurban railway museum. Lloyd is in his 16th year of service to the nation with the U.S. Army and recently returned from a deployment to East Africa as a Civil Affairs Team Sergeant where he worked with the Ugandan People’s Defense Forces in support of AMISOM. A combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Sergeant First Class Lloyd served with the 101st Airborne Division as an infantry squad leader on over 250 combat missions. Lloyd is a graduate of Albion College and current master’s candidate at Western Michigan University. He and his wife Kimberly have three children and live in Jackson, Michigan with their two dogs.
