“Freight rail investments deliver for our economy, enhancing the network that connects our businesses to the global market. Take Georgia’s ports, which account for $33.2 billion of our state GDP. On-dock service from CSX and Norfolk Southern is crucial to this operation, and both railroads have made significant investments to improve efficiency and increase rail volumes.”

Seth Millican is Executive Director of the Georgia Transportation Alliance, an affiliate of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the state’s first organization focused solely on long-term transportation solutions related to economic development, traffic congestion, safety and our fast-growing logistics industry. In 2010, James Magazine named Millican one of Georgia’s top three young lobbyists.

He began his career as a staff aide for the Georgia House Republican Leadership Office and as a campaign staffer for the Georgia Republican Party. Since that time, he has served as a staff aide in the State Senate, a consultant for various political organizations, and a public affairs consultant for a variety of transportation related clients.
